Flat Fan Nozzles
Essentially, this is a line of spray. Though its impact is not as high as a solid stream nozzle, it out-performs hollow cone or full spray patterns.
Compared to cone nozzles, this type of nozzle typically produces bigger droplets but atomizing flat fan nozzles can produce very fine droplets as well.
To cover an area, a flat fan nozzle requires some kind of relative motion. This motion can be usually obtained by conveying the products under a series of flat fan sprays. To achieve full coverage, the nozzle itself can be in motion.
